About Me

Currently, I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in International Relations with the Political Science Department at Tulane University. I received my Ph.D. in International Relations and Comparative Politics at the University of Tennessee Knoxville.

My research is focused on Civil-Military Relations. Specifically, I concentrate on the interactions and communications by and between the government, the public, and the military, and the consequences of such interactions on society, the state, and international security.

I am also a Research Consultant for the Minerva-funded project "Maritime Law Enforcement in the Indo-Pacific: Building Capacity to Confront Militia Groups and Maritime Crime" under Lead Investigator Brandon Prins.
