Teaching Development
To improve my teaching abilities, I regularly seek out workshops and conferences offered by Tulane University's Center For Engaged Learning & Teaching. During my time at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville I attended workshops and certification programs, a seminar taught by the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Department of Political Science, the Judith Anderson Herbert Writing Center, the Center for Integration of Research Teaching and Learning, as well as the American Political Science Association’s Teaching and Learning Conference. My efforts to expand my classroom skills continued even after I moved away from teaching to work for the International Studies Quarterly journal in January 2019 and to a research assistant position in August 2021.
